Progress

I'm a very goal oriented person. It's how I survive. So of course I made a list of things I wanted to get done before we get pregnant again. I get so sick with pregnancy that I'm afraid if I get pregnant quickly I won't be physically able to do all the small things that I want to do to honor Jackson. The urge to mother him is still so strong even though he's not here. One of the things I wanted to do was get his 8X10 on our wall. Today, it's finally done. :) It feels good.

Very nice. I'm glad you're doing things that feel healing to you. I loved your Halloween post; even though it felt crappy, I am so impressed at your ability to keep up that normalcy for your kids. I also love how Amie feels so close to you, and wants to be like you. It means you're doing something very right :) !

That is so sweet that Amie wanted to be just like mommy. I hope Madelyn wants to some day. You are a wonderful mother, sacrificing so much for your family. Sorry Halloween was crappy, proud of you for going.

We totally want to help with your service project. It just happens that my kids and I just went to town on all the toys. They picked a whole bunch they wanted to give away. I also have AT LEAST 6 bags BIG bags of kids clothes and a box of shoes. We had decided we wanted to find someone who really needs them, not just DI. We haven't had any luck until your post. Please email me and let me know what you want me to do. Can they be any size, any age? My email is kristabreinholt@gmail.com.

I'm sorry that Halloween was so hard for you. Those days will not go away anytime soon. I think about you ALL the time and I hope that I can be strong like you if something happens to one of my children. Having other children must be helpful to get yourself up and going again. Your costumes are so cute! I hope Daisy will want to be like me too when she is older. I was given a box of size 5 diapers that I cannot use. I was wondering if you'd be able to use them in your service project. They are off brand ones and my diaper wearing child has sensitive skin so they won't work. Let me know. skstock04@yahoo.com

Hello, I read your little side note on helping out families less fortunate than ours. I would love to help. I am a scentsy(wickless) candles consultant. If you would like to do a fundraiser for the month on November, then I will give 15% of the sales to you to give to a family in need. I have never commented on your blog, but I do read it often. I used to babysit your husband, lol. My family and Butch and Kathy's family grew up together in Chandler. My email is adurham17@cox.net Let me know what you think, and we can find a time to get together so I can give you all the Scentsy information and catalogs. Thanks! Ashlee

I love that picture of Jackson so much! He was so handsome. I love what you did to the stairs with the pictures too...it's perfect! I keep you in my prayers and think about you often. I sure hope you get pregnant during the holiday seasons...it's so romantical this time of year!
