Claire's Funeral - Posted on the 8 Month Anniversary of her Birth and Death

I realize that I have not posted pics of Claire's funeral... I have always wanted to but avoid it for some reason. I think it is touching to see my mother in law, who passed away 2 months later, in the pics, trying to offer support when she was physically in pain. I'm also overwhelmed with pics of my daughtor, so small, participating in such a sad sad day.

Kelly, I grieve your loss. I'm so sorry you only had Claire in your arms for what probably felt like one solitary second. Your 2nd Angel's (oldest daughter) letter is poignant. It's raw emotion. So sincere. So heartachingly tender. Those pictures show so much, and yet they probably don't even express a thousandth part of what you were all feeling that day and still battle against day in and day out. I love you and want you to know I'm thinking about you.

Kelly thank you for sharing these pictures. It shows just a glimpse of such personal pain and grief. What cemetery is this?

This is our Haught Cemetary, in Rye Arizona. Who knew we would need it so much in these last 2 years. But we are thankful that we have it.

Its crazy to see how much Ami has changed in just 8 months time. She looks so little still in these pictures, compared to when we saw you guys last, she looks so much more grown up. That was a day that still carries a sad spot in my heart! I'm thinking about you always!

Hi, I found you blog via, via, via. I too have lost children. I wanted to say your daughter's grave, with all the flowers planted on it, is beautiful. As graves for precious children can be. We too have many flowers and plants planted on our children's grave. Thank you for sharing these photos.
